Undercover Presents: Radiohead’s Kid A (encore)

A few years back I did an arrangement of Radiohead’s tune “Morning Bell” for the Undercover Presents concert series (check out the recording below), a fantastic event that challenges Bay Area musicians to reimagine songs from classic records. We played a three-night sold-out at the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco, and it was so well received that they’re bringing it back for another three-night run at The Independent in June! For those of you who don’t know the venue, The Independent is one of the best venues in San Francisco, and a phenomenal place to hold a concert of this scope.

Were performing this time with not only our core group of Hurd Ensemble musicians, but swapping out the bass clarinet section for a baritone saxophone section, and adding singer/composer/electronic musician/the other half of my new electronic duo Nightmare LightJoel St. Julien. It’s such an incredibly fun event to perform at, filled to the brim with more than a hundred musicians hanging out and making music, not to mention the thousands of intensely cool fans who come out to hear the reinvention of one of their favorite records.

Get tickets as soon as you possibly can – the last time we did this it sold out in days!
